EatLah privacy control
Delete your EatLah account and data
EatLah uses an anonymous account rather than asking you to register with a name, email address or password. You can permanently delete that account and its linked data from inside the app.
Delete in the app
- Open EatLah on the phone where you use it.
- Open Preferences.
- Under Your data, choose Delete my EatLah data.
- Read the confirmation and confirm deletion.
The deletion is processed immediately. If you continue using EatLah, the app creates a new, unrelated anonymous account.
What is deleted
- The anonymous Supabase Auth account used by that installation.
- Saved food, dietary, halal, budget, distance and discovery preferences.
- Taste affinities, recommendation history, choices, skips, feedback and first-party telemetry linked to that anonymous identifier.
- Contribution records owned by the account, including completed files and incomplete private quarantine uploads.
- The local pending visit-feedback reminder state, reviewer access state and active anonymous session on that device.
What may remain
Shared provider place identifiers and separately reviewed, non-user-specific restaurant or dish information may remain because they are not owned by one user. Aggregate statistics that can no longer identify or be linked to your anonymous identifier may also remain. Service providers may retain limited security or backup records under their own retention schedules.
If you cannot access EatLah
Email dev@intraversesoftware.tech for help. Because EatLah has no registered profile, we may need information from the affected installation to locate its anonymous identifier and may be unable to match data from a reset or unavailable device.
