EatLah Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use EatLah. Please read them alongside the EatLah Privacy Policy.
1. Provider and acceptance
EatLah is provided by Intraverse Software Ltd, company number 17413062, registered in England and Wales with registered office at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. By using EatLah, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Beta service
EatLah is a food-decision aid offered as a beta. Features, availability and supported areas may change, and the service may be interrupted. Recommendations are generated from your request, available provider data and EatLah’s ranking; they are not sponsored placements unless clearly stated.
3. Check important details
Opening hours, prices, distance, availability, menus and restaurant details can change. Verify important details with the venue before travelling or ordering. EatLah does not provide delivery, booking, payment or a guarantee that a venue can serve you.
4. Dietary and allergy safety
EatLah is not medical or allergy advice. Even when a request requires halal certification or another dietary constraint, you must verify current certification, ingredients, preparation, cross-contamination and all safety needs directly with the venue.
5. Maps and third-party services
Directions open a Google Maps link for the selected place. Google Maps and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their routes, content or availability.
6. Contributions
Only submit menus, photos and information you created, own or have permission to share. By submitting, you give Intraverse Software Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, review, reproduce, crop, edit and display approved content in EatLah, with any credit you provide. You keep your ownership rights.
Do not upload faces, private information, misleading content, copied delivery-platform material, unlawful content or anything that infringes another person’s rights. Nothing is published automatically, and submission does not guarantee publication, payment, reward or favourable placement.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse EatLah, interfere with its operation, evade access or rate limits, automate requests without permission, probe security, access another user’s data, reverse engineer protected service components, or use the app unlawfully. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers or the service.
8. Intellectual property
EatLah’s software, branding and original content belong to Intraverse Software Ltd or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, EatLah is provided on an “as available” beta basis, and Intraverse Software Ltd is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by relying on changing third-party restaurant information. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
10. Ending use and changes
You can stop using EatLah and delete your anonymous account at any time. We may update these terms as the beta develops, changing the date above and providing appropriate notice for material changes. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available where you live. Questions can be sent to dev@intraversesoftware.tech.
